Press & Recognition

Yacob Berhane is a founder, builder, and writer working at the intersection of capital, technology, and craft. He builds with AI in the open, including Agent OS, a multi-agent operating system he designed and runs himself, and the Griot Stack, the AI creative method behind his own work.
He founded and led Pariti, which built a proprietary AI hiring system and grew a 70,000-member community across emerging markets on the back of it (seed led by Harlem Capital), and was founding COO and head of growth at Quill, an agentic-AI company building a sovereign "Chief of AI Staff." Earlier he was a venture partner at Ingressive Capital and an investment banker at SunTrust and Bank of America.
He is writing Arbitrage, a book and short film in the making about identity and the space between worlds, drawn from his life as an Eritrean-American who has spent it translating between finance and art, the diaspora and the continent. His work has been featured in TechCrunch, CNBC Africa, TechCabal, and on the Afropolitan podcast, and he has spoken at Harvard, Stanford, and beyond.
He calls the throughline exceptional realism: making real things across code, capital, and craft.
